Spring Intro to Paper Piece Workshop
Are you curious about paper piecing? Come learn the basic techniques by sewing your choice of a carrot patch from the pattern by Leila Gardunia or butterfly (https://lillyella.com/tutorials/butterflycharmblocks/) or dragonfly (https://lillyella.com/tutorials/sugarbabypattern/) from patterns by Lillyella Stitchery. These are great projects to immerse yourself into paper piecing.
You are required to bring your sewing machine and have experience with using it. For the full material list click here.
Choose a butterfly (Cricket, Gidget or Pepper) finished size 5" x 5"
or a hummingbird finished size 5", 6" or 8" your chose
or the Carrot Patch finished size 6 1/2" x 9"
Your chosen pattern will be printed before class on foundation piecing paper, but you'll learn how to print your own patterns at home with correct scaling, as well as how to enlarge and reduce the size of existing patterns using a copier.
