Every effort is made to make sure our customers are 100% satisfied. We double check orders and we pack and ship carefully, but occasionally, we make a mistake. We also know that online shoppers change their minds about a purchase.
Cancellations, returns, and exchanges of merchandise purchased online cannot be handled in person at our store in Montpelier, Vt. They must be processed according to the terms below.
Our Mistake!In the event you receive an incorrect item or defective merchandise, please contact A Quilter's Garden via phone within 7 days of receipt of your order so that we can work with you to make it right.
A complete refund and exchange of the item (including all related shipping costs), will be processed once the item is received by A Quilter's Garden and the item is verified to be in its original condition by A Quilter's Garden.
Cancelling An Order?A cancellation must be placed by phone or email. We will make every effort to check phone messages and email before processing orders. Once an order is shipped it can not be cancelled.
If an order is cancelled before shipping, but after fabric has been cut, the following will occur: (a) Any packaged merchandise (notions, threads, books, patterns, kits, pre-cuts) will be deleted from the order and (b) the customer will be shipped any cut fabric and will be charged for the cut fabric and any applicable shipping charges.
Returns & Exchanges!Please shop carefully! We ask that you are really sure before you make your selection and hit the "checkout" button.
Sales are final on the following items: BERNINA sewing, serger, quilting machines; clearance items, special orders, thread, books, patterns, magazines, software, pre-cuts, kits and fabric. If you have a question about a product, give us a quick call or email prior to ordering and we would be happy to answer any questions you may have!
In the event you change your mind about a purchase that is not listed on the final sales items noted above and want to return or exchange an item:
- The entire return/exchange must be completed within 30 days of the initial shipping date from A Quilter's Garden. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase was shipped from A Quilter's Garden, we unfortunately will not be able is to issue a refund or exchange.
- To initiate your return/exchange, please contact A Quilter's Garden by phone to obtain a Return Authorization Number.
- Return shipping costs will not be reimbursed by A Quilter's Garden.
- A Quilter's Garden will not be responsible for damage to merchandise incurred during return shipping. Please consider insuring your parcel.
- Exchanges are only processed for defective or damaged items. An exchange will be made for the same item.
Terms of Refunds/ExchangesMerchandise MUST BE in the same condition as when shipped from A Quilter's Garden.
Several types of goods are exempt from being returned/exchanged so carefully check the list noted above. Your item must be unused and in it's original packaging and not exposed to smoke or other odors. Packaged items must not be opened, damaged or rearranged in any way.
Once the return is received and it's condition is verified by A Quilter's Garden, a refund will be issued within 14 business days in the form of the original payment, excluding all shipping costs.
Packing Your Merchandise For Replacement/Return/ExchangeInclude the Return Authorization Number inside the package.
